KTM 250 Duke update launched with LED headlamp and SuperMoto ABS

The KTM 250 Duke has been updated for the Indian market. KTM India has added premium features like LED headlamps, SuperMoto ABS and has made the motorcycle available in two new colour options. The motorcycle is now priced at Rs Rs 2,09,280 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

2020 KTM 250 Duke Update

The KTM 250 Duke has been one of the more successful products for KTM India. It was launched to bridge the gap between the 200 Duke and the 390 Duke, and this it did very well. It gave the rider just a little bit more performance for a slightly higher price tag.

It also looked more in-line with the bigger 390 Duke, and therefore attracted a decent amount of buyers. Now KTM India has updated the motorcycle with some premium features that are expected to attract more buyers.

The KTM 250 Duke now features a split LED headlamp with LED DRLs. Prior to this, the motorcycle was available with a halogen headlamp and this was the only major differentiating factor between the 250 and the 390 Duke in terms of design. Now though, the motorcycle looks just like the KTM 390 Duke with the LED headlamp.

2020 KTM 250 Duke Update

KTM has now made the motorcycle available in two new colours — Dark Galvano and Silver Metallic. These colours combined with the attractive graphics make the motorcycle quite a looker. KTM has also equipped the new 250 Duke with SuperMoto ABS. With the touch of a button, the ABS system is deactivated on the rear wheel and is functional only on the front wheel.

This system was previously available only on the 390 Duke and was hailed by many to be extremely engaging to ride. Now it is available on the 250 Duke as well. The new KTM 250 Duke also features contactless cranking which allows a one-touch start irrespective of the engine temperature.

The addition of these new features has increased the price of the motorcycle by just Rs 9,280 compared to the outgoing model. Bookings for the motorcycle are now open across KTM stores in India.
