The Suzuki Swish 125 along with the Access 125 has been a success for Suzuki and has really made an impression on the Indian scooter market. To capitalize on the good sales momentum Suzuki have refreshed the Swish 125 for 2015 and added a lot of new features that should help it attain good sales numbers in the 125cc scooter segment. For 2015 the new Suzuki Swish 125 has been priced at Rs. 63,540/- on road in Bangalore. Key features on the new Swish 125 include, a redesigned meter console upfront that now houses a digital meter, this meter shows the odometer, two trip meters, fuel level, a clock and a service reminder. The traditional pointing needle speedometer remains, good actually. The new Swish 125 also gets tubeless tyres and a maintenance free battery. Engine wise there are no changes. The new Swish 125 also gets new graphics with the existing colour options which are Metallic Sonic Silver, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black, and Candy Dark Cherry Red. A disc brake even as an option takes a miss though.
Ever since Suzuki entered the scooter market in India they seem to be doing quite well. This has given them the surge they needed and hopefully we can see some exciting two-wheelers from them in the near future. A much talked about new and upcoming motorcycle from Suzuki is the faried version of the Suzuki Gixxer 155. It has been spotted testing once, but very few details are available at this moment. We recently did a detailed road test/review of the Suzuki Gixxer 155 and absolutely loved it. The faired version could be very interesting. More on that as it happens.
