This year’s ‘KTM Junior European Cup’ starts on 22nd April at Assen. All participants of this competition will be riding the same bike, the KTM 690 Duke specially prepared for the track by KTM. These motorcycle were available only to participants of the cup till now, but now due to the demand, KTM has introduced a special series of KTM’s 690 Duke called ‘Track’, which is a pure track machine and not road legal. The engine gets a new camshaft, a polished airbox, new intake’s and a new AkrapoviÄ exhaust. These changes add an extra 9 HP and the KTM Duke 690 Track produces a total of 79 horses. The ‘Track’ also gets new suspension’s, which are fully adjustable WP forks at front and fully adjustable rear shock absorbers. The ABS system has been removed and the braking is handled by Brembo racing brake system with thicker discs and four piston callipers. KTM 690 Duke Track also gets a slightly smaller handle and a different seat. The frame and the chassis remain untouched.
