Around a month ago, Gurugram Police added 10 brand-new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 bikes in its Patrolling Squad. It was done under Suzuki Motorcycle India’s road safety CSR initiative. Now, under the same initiative, 5 Gixxer SF bikes have been handed over to Surat Traffic Police to assist them in traffic operations.
How are these bikes different from the regular Gixxer SF 250s?
Well, all the internals and mechanicals of the bikes are exactly the same as that of a regular Gixxer SF 250. However, to meet the necessary requirements and to be ready for use by the traffic police personnel, certain modifications, like special white paint scheme with ‘police’ stickering, blue and red beacon lights, side pannier-type boxes, etc., have been done.

Overall, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is a great motorcycle. We really like the way it performed in dynamic conditions and situations. Its 249cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine has got enough grunt (26 bhp/22.6 Nm) to keep up with its rivals. Also, even though it has clip-on handlebars, they are perfectly set to provide a comfortable yet sporty riding stance. We also like the design of the bike. Suzuki has done a great job there as well. The Gixxer SF 250 is one of the best-looking bikes in its segment available in India.
We have already reviewed the Gixxer SF 250. You can watch it below.
