The prices of the upcoming BS6 TVS Ntorq 125 have been revealed. Its entry-level drum brake variant would cost Rs 65,975 which is around 6 grand more expensive than its BS4 counterpart. Similarly, the disc brake variant would also show a price hike and retail at Rs 69,975 whereas the range-topping Race Edition would continue to be the most expensive model and have a price tag of Rs 72,455.
Variant | Old price (Rs) | New price (Rs) | Difference (Rs) |
Drum brake | 59,462 | 65,975 | 6,513 |
Disc brake | 59,995 | 69,975 | 9,980 |
Race edition | 64,925 | 72,455 | 7,530 |
Clearly, it is the disc brake variant of the Ntorq 125 that has received the highest price hike. Depending on the variant, the price increase of the BS6 model ranges from around 6.5 grand to 7.5 grand.
TVS has not released any details of the BS6 Ntorq 125, however, we do have an idea about the changes which the company might have implemented. To convert the carb versions into BS6 standards, TVS would have added a fuel injection system. Also, the exhaust system of the scooter would have received certain amendments to control the emissions.

BS4 TVS Ntorq 125 is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 9.1bhp and 10.5Nm. We are pretty sure that the BS6 variant will continue to have the same engine although the power and torque outputs would vary a little.
TVS might also add a few cosmetic upgrades in the BS6 Ntorq 125 to justify the hiked prices and also to make the new variants differ from the BS4 models. Let’s see when does the launch happen.
All prices are ex-showroom
