As per the latest findings, Royal Enfield has stopped sending in new stocks of BS4 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 to its dealerships. This means that the BS6 version of the 650 Twins could soon be launched. In fact, a BS6 Interceptor 650 was recently spotted. There is a spy shot of the bike as well.
The latest spy shot tells us that Royal Enfield won’t make any styling or design changes in the BS6 Interceptor 650. Everything is expected to remain the same. Maybe there would be some new graphics, colour schemes, and a bunch of new accessories. However, the primary focus will be the engine which will undergo certain changes to become BS6-compliant.
It was back in August 2019, when the first spy shots of BS6 Continental GT 650 being tested came up. The test mule had an extension in both of its exhausts which made the bike look hideous. We hope that since it was an early stage of the testing process, the extensions were there just for testing and wouldn’t make into the final production-ready model.

The earlier test mule also had a rear seat cowl which was different from the one which is currently available as an accessory. It was on the touring seat and not on the single-seat. Maybe RE would provide it as a new accessory.
We also hope that with the new BS6 650 Twins, RE would introduce alloy wheels (optional) with the bikes. Currently, even though both of them have tubeless Pirelli tyres, their spoke rims make them prone to tyre punctures.

Royal Enfield recently launched the BS6 Classic 350, its first BS6 motorcycle in India. It will update the rest of its product line-up to BS6 and maybe, the next one in line is the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.
