What is Yamaha’s ‘Blue Square’ showroom all about?

As a part of its ‘The Call of the Blue’ campaign, Yamaha has opened the first ‘Blue Square’ showroom of India in Chennai. This showroom is spread over an area of 4,000 sq ft and is different from the rest of Yamaha India’s showrooms located across the country in many ways. So what is it all about? Let’s find out.

Yamaha Blue Square showrooms will have a blue-themed ambience because as we know it, blue is Yamaha’s colour. These will be premium showrooms and they will showcase only Yamaha’s premium range of motorcycles and scooters along with all the accessories, apparels, and spare parts. Apart from all that, these premium showrooms will also incorporate a cafe for customers.

“At the moment when motorcycling scenario is fast-growing, there’s a potential requirement of innovating the experiences of buying, servicing and facilitating other motorcycling necessities with the help of an exclusive ambience and comfort. Yamaha’s “Blue Square” will put together an embracing racing spirit of Yamaha where an array of exciting, stylish and sporty two-wheelers and accessories will be on offer.”

Yamaha has also said that the Blue Square showrooms will maintain customer records digitally. Buyers will be able to download the brochures digitally by scanning the vehicle QR codes. This will help provide on-time communication and one-to-one marketing that will improve communication between the dealer and the customer. Yamaha also plans to introduce face-scanning systems and Dealer Management System for more effective communication in the future.

Yamaha is eyeing to open at least 100 such Blue Square showrooms in the country in 2020 to spread its reach to more premium customers. It, however, didn’t tell which city would be next to get this showroom.
