There are a couple of spy shots doing the rounds of the Internet and they are likely of the upcoming BS6 Hero Glamour. We can see in the pictures that the test mule is heavily camouflaged, however, few details can still be figured out.

Firstly, it appears that Hero hasn’t done a major makeover of the bike’s design. It will more or less look the same. We do spot a tweaked LED taillight and a missing tyre hugger at the rear. Hero also installed a single-piece grab rail.

We also see a new instrument cluster. Although not perfectly clear, it does reveal a part which suggests that it could be a semi-digital unit. Hero would avoid going ahead with a fully digital dash as that will add up to the bike’s total cost. Talking about cost, there would be two variants of the new Glamour – disc and drum.

As for the engine, it is very likely to be the same 124cc single-cylinder unit that powers the current model with its 11.69 PS and 11 Nm of torque. However, it would get some tweaks to make it BS6 compliant and thus, there could be slight alterations with the final power and torque figures.

We are also expecting to see a set of new colour options and perhaps some new graphics in the new BS6 Hero Glamour.

Regarding the pricing and the launch, it’s being speculated that the BS6 Glamour could see a price hike of Rs 3000-4000 and get launched early next year before the April 1 deadline and will compete against the recently launched BS6 Honda SP125. The current model of the Glamour retails at Rs 69,950 (ex-showroom).
