We don’t need to tell you about MV Agusta or how its bikes aren’t just normal bikes but are ‘Motorcycle Art’. With that being said, MV Agusta has just launched its spanking-new and a proper track-tool, the F3 800 RC in India!
This is a limited edition model of the standard F3 800 and has been tweaked and tinkered to set race tracks on fire. It comes with the Agusta racing livery in a dark theme complemented by the Italian Tricolore. It clearly demands 100% attention.
To set unbelievable lap times on a race track, MV Agusta will provide a free racing kit to its Indian customers. The kit includes an SC Project titanium and carbon fibre exhaust, a special ECU in order to run the uprated the exhaust with special mapping and traction control settings for the ‘Race’ rider mode, and a couple of small lightweight parts like a fibreglass pillion cowl, aluminium rear-sets and aluminium brake as well as clutch levers.

MV Agusta claims that with the racing kit slapped on, the F3 800 RC becomes 8kg lighter (165kg) and gains 5PS of power. This means that the 798cc engine will produce a total of 153PS at a crazy 13,000 revs! That’s insane! To keep you alive there are various electronic aids such as ride-by-wire, four riding modes, an eight-level traction control system and Bosch ABS with Race Mode setting and Rear-wheel Lift-up Mitigation.
If you are thinking that with the free racing kit the MV Agusta F3 800 RC sounds like a steal deal, well, think again because it is priced at Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and only 6 of them are made available in the country.
