Time really flies, doesn’t it? Jawa has completed one year in the country after its resurrection and to celebrate its first anniversary, it is going to launch a new motorcycle called Perak on November 15th.

Jawa showcased the Perak last year when it launched its first two motorcycles – Jawa and Forty Two. At that point we didn’t know when would Perak reach the showrooms. Well, now we do because Jawa has sent out an invite that has a bike with a bobber-like silhouette, just like the Perak. The invite also mentions that it will be the next chapter for the brand.

Jawa Perak is indeed a bobber-styled motorcycle featuring a floating seat design. Of course, keeping to the brand’s true value, this one too is expected to be a classic bike but much more attractive than the other two Jawas.

Jawa Perak launch

The Perak will be powered by a larger 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that would produce slightly more power (30 bhp) and torque (31 Nm) than the one which currently powers the Jawa and Forty Two. For the transmission, we are expecting to have a 6-speed unit. Jawa would also give Perak a dual-channel ABS.

The response that Jawa got after its resurrection was overwhelming with bookings skyrocketing and long waiting periods. And now with the Perak, Jawa’s third product, we have already prepared ourselves to see a similar scenario once again.
