Finally, we have it, the KTM Duke 790! The production-ready model of the new Orange Monster has been spotted in Bangalore. It carries a mandatory saree guard and thus confirms that it’s for the Indian market and KTM isn’t just playing with our feelings.

The Duke 790 looks fab in the pictures and we can’t control our excitement to see it in person. KTM has pampered us with its performance-oriented products for many years now and the upcoming Duke 790 is going to spoil us even more!

Since it’s a KTM, it has to be in orange and we love the way it looks. You’d notice a few familiar parts on this machine. For example, the LED headlight along with the LED DRLs are something that we’ve seen in the latest Duke 390. The full-colour TFT display has also made its way in the 790, of course, with added features.

Powering this beast is a 799cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 105hp and 86Nm, comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. The bike weighs just 189kg so power wheelies will make sure that you’re having maximum fun all the time! You also get a host of electronic aids like bi-directional quick-shifter, four riding modes – Sport, Street, Rain, and Track, traction control, and whatnot.

Other eye-catching types of equipment include 43mm WP suspension at the front, 300mm dual disc brakes upfront with radially mounted J.Juan callipers, 240mm single disc at the rear, 17-inch alloy wheels, split seats, LED tail lamp, etc.

Now, it seems that the Duke 790 will be launched in the country pretty soon. Stay tuned for the updates.
