The Gold Wing sits right at the top in Honda’s superbike collection for the Indian market. The Japanese brand launched the new Gold Wing in the country a while ago and it really made the touring enthusiasts impatient. Now, for the 2020 model year, Honda has given a minor update to the Gold Wing.
The new Gold Wing Tour models will get fog lamps as standard as these lights improve visibility in various riding conditions. The Tour models also get a redesigned rear-seat grab handles that are supposedly more ergonomic for pillions of all body types.
Honda has also studied the software of the inbuilt navigation system and went ahead with a minor update. For better ride quality and performance, the suspension settings have been altered as well. Apart from these, Honda also did the following changes-
- Saddlebag-mounted USB charger on all models (previously standard only on Airbag model) joins dash-mounted charger for increased charging options.
- Revised button on centre storage pocket features improved action.
- Blacked-out engine, frame and wheels now available on Pearl Glare White Tour and Tour DCT.
- All-new black with anodized surfaces available on Gold Wing and Gold Wing DCT.
Oh, there’s one more thing that Honda has updated in the 2020 Gold Wing, and that’s the colour palette. There are three new colours – Pearl Glare White, Candy Ardent Red/Black, and Darkness Black Metallic/Gray. We really dig the last shade; which one would you pick?
