Royal Enfield has introduced a new pair of hand-painted helmets that look simply stunning. They have a retro feel to them thanks to their glossy black paint that is decorated with hand-painted gold stripes called Madras stripes.
Royal Enfield says that the thick-and-thin pinstripes, also called Madras stripes, stand for simplicity, authenticity and craftsmanship. A tradition that started over a century ago is still practised in Madras. One brush, two strokes and a distinctive identity that has made Royal Enfield Bullet stand out.
To match the retro theme on the outside, the inside of the helmets come with a dual-tone, leather-style finish. There is a high-density EPS liner to provide cushioning and allow air ventilation for better comfort.
In terms of safety, the new helmets have a fibreglass shell and are ISI certified. They are limited-edition models and only 200 of them will be made. They will be available in both open and full-face type.
As of now, we don’t know the pricing of these helmets, however, if you want to buy them you can register yourself on Royal Enfield’s official website. Mind you, only 200 units of these helmets are available, so if you really want to own one, you would need to be quick. Royal Enfield will showcase them at Rider Mania 2019 in Goa and they will go on sale in December.
