Bajaj Dominar 400 now costs Rs 10,000 more

The updated Bajaj Dominar 400, that was launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 1.74 lakh, seems to have been bringing good sales for the company so far. Perhaps, that’s one of the reasons why Bajaj has hiked its price once again? Well, whatever the reason may be, the Dominar 400 now retails at Rs 1.90 lakh which is Rs 10,000 more than before.

It was back in July when Bajaj decided to end the introductory price of the Dominar 400 that it was offering ever since the bike was launched in April and hiked the price from Rs 1.74 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh, a hike of Rs 6,000. And now this, the new price hike.

Still, the Dominar 400 continues to be a very good VFM package – 373.3cc, liquid-cooled engine with DOHC setup, almost 40bhp and 35Nm, USD forks, dual-channel ABS, full LED lighting, high-speed stability, impressive brakes, better rearview mirrors, new exhaust with a beefier note, and whatnot. Do you know what other bikes you can get at this price? KTM Duke 250 (Rs 1.97 lakh) and Honda CBR250R (Rs 1.95 lakh).

So, yeah, you can clearly see that the new Dominar 400 is definitely a much better overall package available in its segment and it is also a much better bike than its predecessor. And we do like its Aurora Green colour and Bajaj would launch the red pretty soon.

(All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi)
