After launching the BS6 variants of Apache RTR 200 4V and RTR 160 4V, TVS has now launched the BS6 variant of its Jupiter Classic for Rs 67,911 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is the first BS6 model in the entire Jupiter range.
The new BS6 TVS Jupiter is powered by the same 110cc, single-cylinder engine that we are familiar with. We don’t have the new figures right now but previously, in its BS4 avatar, this engine produced 7.9 bhp and 8 Nm of torque.
TVS has given its new BS6 Jupiter Classic the ET-Fi (Ecothrust Fuel injection) technology which, TVS claims, have enhanced the overall performance across driveability, smoothness, and fuel economy of the scooter. TVS has also added a USB charger in the front mobile storage compartment and a tinted visor along with all the other previous features.

TVS has launched only the drum variant of the new BS6 Jupiter Classic. Right now, there’s no word as to when the disc variant would be released, however, it is being said that TVS would launch the other variants of the Jupiter in a phase-wise manner. As for the colour options, the new BS6 Jupiter is available in three colours – Sunlit Ivory, Autumn Brown and INDIBLUE.
