Kawasaki Ninja 400 is a great motorcycle but its ridiculously high price of Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom) is a bummer. For the 2020 model, three new colours of the bike have been introduced in Japan and they look quite fantastic.
So the 2020 KRT edition gets new graphics on the side fairing and a red hue under the belly. Then we have the new black-grey colour scheme with yellow graphics on the side. And the last one, which is the most eye-catching one, is the black-white-red scheme. We personally like this one more than the others.
Apart from the addition of the new paint jobs, the rest of the bike remains untouched. So the engine is the same parallel-twin, liquid-cooled unit churning out almost 48bhp of power and 38Nm of torque. In terms of features, it has dual LED headlamps, a comfortable riding position, new dash, and much more.
Ever since Kawasaki India reduced the price of the Ninja 300, its sales skyrocketed. Perhaps, following a similar strategy would help the Ninja 400’s future in India. Currently, it’s available in only a single colour – KRT edition -and as of now, there’s no official confirmation from Kawasaki but we think it should bring the new colours in the country.
