The Hero Xtreme 160R 100 Million Edition has been launched in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 1,08,750. It costs Rs 1,800 more than the Disc brake variant of the motorcycle, and comes with aesthetic changes. The 100 Million Edition is available only in a dual-tone colour scheme.
The Hero Xtreme 160R is one of the best all-rounders in its segment. It might not have the highest power in its class, and it might not be the best-looking either. But it does have a character that sets it apart and a price point at which it sells well.
Hero recently reached a huge milestone of 100 million units’ production. To celebrate this milestone, Hero will launch a special 100 Million Edition of all of its products. The company has now announced the launch of the Hero Xtreme 160R 100 Million Edition. It is based on the disc brake variant of the motorcycle. The biggest difference between the two is the paint job.
It gets a dual-tone Red & White paint scheme with special graphics. Up front, it gets the same LED headlamp with LED DRLs. The Red & White dual-tone colours are seen on the headlamp cowling, the fuel tank, the side panels, and the rear panel. All other features of the motorcycle remain the same.
It still gets the LCD instrumentation, hazard lights, side-stand down engine cut-off, and Auto Sail function. The Hero Xtreme 160R 100 Million Edition is powered by the same engine. It is an air-cooled, 163cc, single-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 15bhp and a peak torque output of 14Nm.
The Hero Extreme 160R is now available in three variants:
Hero Xtreme 160R Drum Brake – Rs 1,03,900
Hero Xtreme 160R Disc Brake – Rs 1,06,950
Hero Xtreme 160R 100 Million Edition – Rs 1,08,750
