The all-new Suzuki Hayabusa is all set to be launched in the Indian market. Suzuki Motorcycle India posted a teaser video on its social media channels. The video shows the 2021 Hayabusa appearing out of the mist and then come the words ‘The Ultimate Sport Bike, coming soon in India.’
It was just under a month ago that Suzuki revealed the new 2021 Hayabusa. This wasn’t just a facelift, but a generational update with a comprehensive list of changes. While it has already been launched in International markets, It was quite obvious that Suzuki would launch it in India very soon. Now Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced that it will be launched in India soon.
The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa features the same silhouette as its predecessor, with several design updates. It gets LED lighting all around, two-tone colour options, a large fairing, and a completely-new rear-end. The motorcycle also gets twin exhausts on either side.
Powering the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is a liquid-cooled, 1,340cc, inline-four-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 187.7bhp at 9,700rpm and a peak torque output of 150Nm at 7,000rpm. A 6-speed gearbox drives the rear wheel via a slip and assist clutch. The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa also features top-shelf electronics and rider aids.
It features an analogue-digital instrument cluster with a full-colour TFT screen. It also gets launch control, cruise control, hill-hold control, engine brake control, traction control, cornering ABS, bi-directional quickshifter, anti-lift control, and SDMS-α (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector), which comes with five drive modes.
Suspension duties are handled by a fully-adjustable upside-down fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. Twin 320mm discs up front and a single disc at the rear handle braking. We expect the same exact spec to be launched in the Indian market. While Suzuki has confirmed the launch of the new Hayabusa in the Indian market, the date for the launch hasn’t been confirmed. For now, all we know is that it will happen soon.
