The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is all set to make a comeback in its BS6 avatar. Unofficial bookings for the Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 have now begun. A few select dealerships are accepting token amounts ranging between Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000 to book the motorcycle.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is one of the most-loved motorcycles in the 300cc motorcycle segment in India. The motorcycle handles brilliantly, rides well, looks stunning and is powered by a free-revving engine, thereby checking all the boxes for us enthusiasts. However, it has always been priced high.
Kawasaki then launched the Ninja 400 in the Indian market which was more expensive, while the Ninja 300 received a price cut thanks to a higher percentage of localisation. This saw sales numbers of the motorcycle increase. Since the start of the BS6 era, we’ve been hearing rumours about the launch of the BS6 Ninja 300.
Now, there’s some good news coming in for those waiting for the bike. Unofficial bookings are now open. The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 is expected to be launched in new colour schemes. Other than the new colour options, we expect the motorcycle to be the same.

It will be powered by the same liquid-cooled, 296cc, parallel-twin engine. In the outgoing model, it puts out 38.4bhp and 37Nm and we expect the same power and torque numbers to continue on the BS6 model as well. Kawasaki will also hike prices of the motorcycle by Rs 22,000, taking the ex-showroom price up to Rs 3.2 lakh.
The token amount paid towards booking the motorcycle can be refunded within 10 days of the motorcycle’s launch. More details will be revealed when the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 is launched.
