The Bajaj Pulsar 180 BS6 has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 1,07,904 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle has been relaunched in the Indian market a few months after it was taken off showroom floors. It features the same basic design language and a BS6 compliant engine.

2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 BS6

The Bajaj Pulsar 180 is one of the bread and butter motorcycles made by Bajaj. It debuted back in 2001 and has been a slightly more powerful alternative to the Pulsar 150 ever since. It sold in big numbers until 2020 when it has to be taken off the showroom floors thanks to the implementation of the new BS6 emissions norms.

Bajaj then replaced it with the Pulsar 180F which borrowed its styling from the bigger Pulsar 220F. Fans though loved the older streetfighter design and Bajaj has now relaunched the motorcycle with BS6 compliance. It features the trademark Pulsar design and styling with just a few changes.

Up front are two LED DRLs flanking the headlamp. The design remains the same, but the styling is slightly different thanks to the new graphics scheme. Bajaj has launched the 2021 Pulsar 180 BS6 in just a Black Red colour option, but we expect more colour options to debut soon.

Powering the 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 BS6 is the same air-cooled, 178.6cc, single-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 16.7bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque output of 14.52Nm at 6,500rpm. A 5-speed gearbox drives the rear wheel.

Braking is handled by a 280mm disc up front and a 230mm disc at the rear, governed by a single-channel ABS. Suspension is taken care of by a telescopic fork up front and twin shocks at the rear. All Bajaj dealerships across the country have started accepting bookings for the new Pulsar 180 BS6.
