TVS Motor Company is celebrating the sale of 4 million Apache motorcycles across the globe. The TVS Apache brand has just crossed a remarkable milestone of 4 million (40 lakh) motorcycles sold across the globe. This is a great achievement and TVS has celebrated it in style.
The TVS Apache series has always consisted of motorcycles that would leave a grin on the rider’s face. Be it the bassy exhaust rumble or the crisp handling, TVS’ Apaches have always been loved by their owners. The TVS Apache brand made its debut way back in 2005 with the comparatively plain-looking Apache 150 which went on to win many rallies and hearts too.
Well, there has been no looking back ever since. TVS then launched the Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180. Then came the RTR 200 4V, and after this came the Apache RR 310 and more recently, the RTR 160 4V. The Apache family now caters to a variety of buyers according to their tastes and preferences.
On sale currently are the Apache RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 180, RTR 200 4V and the RR 310. Each of these motorcycles are brilliant in their own way and it is safe to say that the TVS Apache has indeed come a long way.
TVS Motor Company takes huge pride in their Apache Owners Group initiative with over 30,000 members actively taking part in events. It comes as no surprise then, that the company decided to include Apache owners in their celebration of hitting the 4 million mark. To celebrate this huge milestone, TVS broke the record for the longest chequered flag in Asia.
The brand created a flag with a length of 957 feet. Each of the squares in the chequered flag consists of one image sourced from Apache owners. More than 2,000 such images were used to adorn the chequered flag. Kudos to TVS Motor Company and all those who worked on the Apache brand for making it what it is today.
