The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has been spotted testing in India. Spy images of the motorcycle were uploaded on Youtube in a video by Mad Biker and they preview the Royal Enfield Meteor. We have been seeing spy images of this motorcycle for a while now, but this time, the motorcycle is not wearing any camouflage, and hence we also get to see the name.

Royal Enfield has named its upcoming motorcycle, ‘Meteor.’ For a long time, this motorcycle was rumoured to be the Thunderbird facelift. However, these spy pictures have now put those rumours to rest. The motorcycle features a slightly different design compared to the other motorcycles in its portfolio.

This one has more of a retro design, but the colour scheme on offer makes it modern. It sports a wide handlebar, a round headlamp and round turn signal indicators, etc. It also sports a new exhaust system that is more flat and fat too. The most retro-looking bit though, is the rear-end.

The Meteor is also the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to feature a digital instrument cluster. The badge on the side panels reveal that it is a 350cc motorcycle, but the engine appears to be new. The drivetrain is now on the left side, while the current engine used in all 350cc Royal Enfield motorcycles has the drivetrain on the right.

The Engine design looks very similar to that of the Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650. We expect the engine internals to be reworked, too offer a smoother engine. It is clear that the Royal Enfield Meteor is one of the motorcycles Royal Enfield is looking to launch later this year. However, given the current situation, it is possible that it could be launched later than sooner.
