Prices of the Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6, as well as that of the BS6 versions of the Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650, have been hiked. Royal Enfield has increased prices of all three motorcycles by Rs 1,837. No mechanical or aesthetic changes have been made to the motorcycles and they are available in the same spec and colours as well.

Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6 Price Hike:

The Royal Enfield Himalayan is one of the most affordable adventure motorcycles in the world. Despite having quality issues when it was first launched, the model was improved over the next few years. In its BS6 avatar, the motorcycle received several updates that made it way better in terms of quality.

In January this year, Royal Enfield launched the Himalayan BS6 at a starting price of Rs 1,86,811. Then in May 2020, the BS6 Himalayan’s prices were hiked. Now, the model has received its second price hike this year. The Granite Black and Snow White colours that used to retail at Rs 1,89,564, now have a price tag of Rs 1,91,401.

The Sleet Grey and Gravel Grey colours now cost Rs 1,94,155 compared to the earlier price tag of 1,92,318. The top-spec Lake Blue and Rock Red colours now have a price tag of Rs 1,95,990 compared to the earlier price of Rs 1,94,154. Prices have increased by Rs 1,837 across all colours.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650 Price Hike:

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 were launched towards the end of 2018. These motorcycles received rave reviews from everyone who rode it and they helped build Royal Enfield’s image as a premium motorcycle manufacturer. Now, Royal Enfield has hiked their prices for the first time since the BS6 versions were launched earlier this year.

The Orange Crush, Silver Spectre and Mark Three colours of the Interceptor 650 are now priced at Rs 2,66,755. Ravishing red and Baker Express come with a price tag of Rs 2,74,643 while the top-spec Glitter and Dust has a price tag of Rs 2,87,747.

When it comes to the Continental GT 650, prices start at 2,82,513 for the Black Magic and Ventura Blue colours. Dr. Mayhem and Ice Queen White cost Rs 2,90,401 and the top-spec Mister Clean colour option costs Rs 3,03,544.
