The Triumph Trident 660 is now open for pre-bookings in the Indian market. Triumph Motorcycles India has started accepting pre-bookings for the upcoming Triumph Trident 660. A token amount of Rs 50,000 can be paid to reserve one unit of the Trident and this amount is completely refundable until prices of the motorcycle are announced.

This also shows that the launch of the Triumph Trident in the Indian market is now closer than we think it is. The global reveal of the Triumph Trident 660 happened only a month ago. It is one of the few motorcycles revealed in 2020 that generated a lot of interest and excitement in the motorcycling community.

This motorcycle drew so much attention because it brings Triumph’s technology and engineering prowess to motorcyclists at an affordable price. The Triumph Trident 660 is all set to become the least-expensive Triumph motorcycle on sale across the world. It even undercuts the Triumph Street Twin, which currently is the cheapest motorcycle produced by the brand.

It is affordable and yet doesn’t skimp on any premium features. It comes with full LED lighting, a TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, switchable traction control, dual-channel ABS, ride-by-wire, and two riding modes.

The Triumph Trident 660 is powered by a liquid-cooled, 660cc, inline-three-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 79.8bhp at 10,250rpm and a peak torque output of 64Nm at 6,250rpm.

Given the specs and the expected price, this motorcycle could soon be in high demand. Triumph Motorcycle India has therefore started accepting pre-bookings for the model. The British brand has also revealed its finance offers for the motorcycle with EMIs starting at Rs 9,999.

Shoeb Farooq, Business Head for Triumph Motorcycles India, said that the company is looking forward to tapping a younger generation of riders in the Triumph family and the special finance scheme is just one step in making their buying journey easier.
