The Ducati Supersport is a versatile motorcycle. It is a good-looking motorcycle with loads of power and is sporty, yet comfortable. Sure, it might not have been as dedicated to posting super quick lap times around a racetrack as the Panigale. But it could hit the racetrack and the highway with equal ease.

Now, Ducati has updated the model to 2021-spec. It comes with some major design improvements It now gets an aggressive front-end that makes it look very similar to the Ducati Panigale V4 and V2. The fairing is also larger and longer at the bottom, stretching all the way to where the dual exhaust outlet is mounted, making it look way better.

It also has creases and ducts and scoops in all the right places. The 2021 Ducati Supersport 950 features a new 4.3-inch TFT display that takes care of instrumentation duties. It also gets advanced electronics including a 6-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) that helps in monitoring and controlling the Cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, etc.

It also gets three riding modes — Urban, Touring and Sport. The riding modes show that Ducati isn’t really marketing this bike for the track but is pushing it for everyday usage. It is still powered by the same Testastretta L-Twin engine albeit, it is now compatible with Euro 5 emissions norms.

It is a liquid-cooled, 937cc, V-twin engine with a maximum power output of 110bhp. A 6-speed gearbox drives the rear wheel.  The 2021 Ducati Supersport 950 is expected to be launched in international markets soon and will land on Indian shores in the first half of 2021.
