The launch of the 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS has been postponed. This has happened due to the widespread outbreak across the globe. The digital launch of the motorcycle was scheduled for 25 March, 2020, but has now been postponed. The new date for the launch will be announced after 31 March.
Many automotive events have been postponed thanks to the virus. Several media rides /drives and launches of new products have been canceled or postponed, and the Triumph Street Triple is only the latest victim.
Despite it being a digital launch, there would be several people involved in various tasks like the livestream, lights, sound, movement of motorcycles, etc. Someone from Triumph’s top management would also have to be present at the event, therefore making it a risky event overall.
This is the extent to which virus has affected the automotive industry. In-fact, the virus has affected the entire automotive industry. Manufacturers like Harley-Davidson, Honda, Hero MotoCorp, etc have suspended production operations until further notice.

It gets new LED headlamps with LED DRLs, a few new body panels, etc. It also comes with a new TFT instrument cluster with bluetooth connectivity and even GoPro controls!
A liquid-cooled, 765cc, three-cylinder engine powers the 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS. It has a maximum power output of 121bhp and a peak torque output of 77Nm. A 6-speed gearbox drives the rear wheel. It is also BS-VI emissions norms compliant. Prices for the motorcycle are yet to be announced.
