The Taiwanese manufacturer whose life began by producing parts for Honda, has come a long way and now is the fifth largest producer of scooters in the world. With annual sales touching 5,70,000 units they sure have established themselves internationally. The new Xciting 400i is tailored to the needs of Europeans. While designing the Kymco scooter, experts were trying to create an attractive and aggressive machine that will be comfortable enough for daily city use.

At the heart of this maxi scooter is a new four-stroke engine with fuel injection. With a capacity of 400 cc the Kymco Xciting delivers a power of 34.8 hp and 37 Nm of torque. The 2012 version gets a revised framework but has kept the good features of its predecessor. Visually it pretty much looks similar to the older model but now get new headlights with LED elements worked into them. Kymco Exciting 400i has a lot of under the seat space that can accommodate a laptop, a full-face helmet, and most of the things that you take when going on a short city ride. Wheel sizes are 15 inch for the front and 14inch for the rear. ABS is an option.
