TVS one of the largest two wheeler manufacturers in India, is quite popular in the scooter segment, especially with the fairer sex of the Indian population. To ensure the product remains fresh, TVS has launched a new TVS Scooty Zest 110 Himalayan Highs Edition.
The new edition of TVS Scooty is to commemorate Anam Hashim, a young enthusiastic female rider who rode a TVS Scooty Zest 110 to Khardung La Pass. With Anam’s bold decision and courage, the TVS Scooty Zest 110 became the first 110cc scooter to reach Khardung La Pass and has earned its name in the India Book of Records.
Anam Hashim says she has always enjoyed trying new challenges. She was thrilled to ride the TVS Scooty Zest 110 to Khardung La. The engine did not run out of breath and even beyond 10,000 feet the ride quality was top-notch throughout the long hours of riding. Despite the dangerous turns and awful weather, she says the TVS Scooty Zest 110cc proved to be a super-reliable and a dependable partner.
The new TVS Scooty Zest Himalayan Highs Edition gets a few visual changes but the underpinnings remain the same. It gets a new Himalayan Brown colour along with body coloured mirrors and switch panels. To make this edition a bit special, TVS has also added a special emblem to celebrate the feat of reaching the highest motorable road in the world at a staggering 18,380 feet.
Mr. Aniruddha Haldar, VP Marketing, TVS Motor Company, commented on the launch of the new edition saying that the Scooty has been an iconic brand for mobility in India. The first 110cc scooter to reach the highest motorable road is a Scooty Zest 110, and it was ridden there by Anam Hashim, a 21 year old Scooty Zest owner. They are happy that this feat has found a place in the India Book of Records.
The new TVS Scooty Zest 110 Himalayan Highs Edition carries a price tag of INR 46,113 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). It is now available across all TVS Showrooms in the country.
