After a long wait we finally got to see the new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V a few months ago and boy was it worth the wait! TVS has done a fantastic job with its new Apache and you can read out ride review for a better understanding on the bike. It’s good to see that TVS has provided a number of variants of the bike to choose from. So depending on your needs and riding style you can opt for any of them.
At the time of the unveiling, TVS said that the ABS version of the new Apache will be available for purchase a few weeks after the base version launch, and now it looks like the ABS version launch is just around the corner. The new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V ABS will be available to the customers pretty soon as the company is almost ready with the ABS unit for its new bike. The good news is that the new unit maybe a plug-and-play system which means that it could be installed even in the non ABS versions of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. If you are looking to buy this unit off the shelf, it is expected to set you back by almost INR 10,000.
The last generation of Apache also came with ABS but that unit wasn’t designed to be installed on a non ABS Apache. Maybe TVS decided to change the design keeping in mind the new regulation of the Indian Govt which will make ABS compulsory on all two-wheelers above 125cc.
