MV Agusta have now made their new Bosch 9MP ABS system with Dual modes of operation standard on all the Brutale models (1090, 1090R and the 1090RR). The two different modes of operation include a Race mode and city mode. The ABS system is a very compact and lightweight one that will not hinder the existing design in any way. The Bosch 9MP incorporates internal pressure sensors and works together with the independent sensors in the brake rotors. By bringing together the data all these provide, the ABS module is capable to offer secure deceleration in the most adverse of riding situations. ABS can be deactivated by the user via the dedicated menu in the bike’s control software. MV Agusta also claim that the characteristic braking power and progressive feel have been retained.
