The Bajaj Discover 100T was launched today at Pune by K Srinivas, president (Motorcycle business), Bajaj Auto and Mr Rajiv Bajaj, MD, Bajaj Auto. The Bajaj Discover 100T specifications boasts of features totally new to this 100cc high volume commuter segment and Bajaj aim to capture more market share from the current segment leader, Hero MotoCorp. The Discover 100T (‘T’ tourer) features Bajaj’s own DTSi technology and comes with a four valve setup, that Bajaj claim will enable the engine to be much peppier than its segment competitors, while at the same time enable the Bajaj Discover 100T mileage to be at a claimed high 87 kmpl.
K Srinivas, president (Motorcycle buisiness), Bajaj Auto said, “The steady growth of the more expensive 100 cc bikes at the cost of the cheaper models is a clear evidence of this. The Discover 100T delivers power of 125 cc motorcycle and mileage of a 100 cc.”
Looks wise the Bajaj Discover 100T looks more like the Discover 125ST minus the mono-shock, the suspension duties are now performed by twin gas-filled Nitrox shocks. The engine is a 100cc one with a 5-speed gearbox, which produces a power of 10.2PS (10.05HP) @ 9,000RPM and a torque of 9.2Nm @ 6,500RPM. Standard features include electric start, auto choke and DC headlamps and the bile will be available in four colours namely, flame red, brilliant blue, black red and black blue. Bajaj have priced the Discover 100T at a slight premium of Rs 50,500/- ex-showroom Delhi.

I bought this bike 1 month before. Like everyone I too had lot of confusion in choosing bike. I done test drive for dream yuga, Centuro, Discover 100T. I found 100T is always best and value for money. I am totally satisfied. Always I drive in emonomical speed( 45 – 50 kmph) and I got milage of 71 kmpl in chennai traffic which made me very happy. Please dont go for Centuro and waste money. My friend bought it 2 months before, now he is looking to sale his bike because of bad milage and worst comfortable. So finally I bought Discover 100T and I felt I am right. eventhough Discover 100M is launched recently, It has less power and dimensions compared with 100T. And compared with old discovers this 100T have more physic and feel strong. Personally I will recommend this bike, if you are looking for best milage and performance.
I m going to buy this bike on this diwali.
