2014 Honda CTX700 & CTX700N

The folks at Honda are on a roll over the last year, with so many new model announcements and quite definitely seem to be the most confident manufacturer out there with bold new products and updates every couple of months. With the announcement of the 500 trio having been just a couple of months back, Honda have surprised us all with the announcement of the CTX700 and the CTX700N at the Chicago Motorcycle Show.

The CTX700 and the CTX700N use a parallel twin, liquid cooled 670cc engine, the same one on the NC700 series, with a seat height in the cruiser range of 720mm. The CTX will also have ABS and automatic transmission with DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) as an optional extra. The CTX stands for ‘Comfort’ ‘Technology’ and ‘Experience’.
