Italian motoring firm Pierobon is one that has a lot of working relations with the factory teams in WSBK and MotoGP and when they celebrated 60 years of development with a custom built superbike the X60R which they displayed at the 2012 EICMA, they sure received a lot attention.
The Pierobon X60R has a Ducati 1168cc V-Twin which produces 120BHP and 116NM of torque. The chassis is a custom built trellis frame with a massive aluminium swing-arm. Key features include adjustable Ohlins suspensions at both ends, Brembo brakes, a Termignoni exhaust system, OZ wheels, carbon fibre bodywork, digital display and a custom mapped ECU, but wait we have not even reached the best part yet, the Pierobon X60R weighs just 134kg dry. The bike is meant just for the tracks and you can order one for 27,300 Euros in various combination of chassis, body and exhaust to suit your needs.
