A Ducati Hypermotard with a liquid-cooled engine has just been spotted in Italy. This hints at the fact that Ducati is currently working on a Hypermotard 848 that could be added to the Ducati range as early as next year. The move is nothing shocking though, as it was definitely just a matter of time before the popular 848 engine found its way into the Hypermotard.
The test bike in picture looks alright but we just can’t get our heads around the ridiculously fat exhaust. We just hope that’s just some camouflage that the folks at Ducati have put on to fool onlookers. The 848 unit is capable of producing an amazing 140bhp, the Hypermotard in all probability would not get all of that, but then with Ducati one would never know for sure.
