WSBK is moving on to the Aragon track this weekend to start off the second half of the season with the 8th round. The Motorland Aragon circuit have decided to pay tribute to Carlos Checa and his continued contributions to the field of motorsports by naming a turn after him at the track. Carlos Checa is the first Spaniard to be a WSBK champion. Turn three on the track is the one decided to be named after the rider and its the first time a corner will be named after a rider at Aragon. The naming ceremony will take place on Friday evening. That said Checa did not have much luck at Aragon in the recent past and nor has he been at his best this year. Hoping to see a turn around from him in the coming races.
