Suzuki has launched the Access 125 CBS (Combi-Braking System) Drum Brake variant in the Indian market at INR 56,667 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This variant is costlier than the regular model by only INR 690. The Access 125 CBS disc brake variant is already sold at INR 59,636 (ex-showroom, Delhi) while non-CBS models for drum and disc brake variants are sold at INR 55,977 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and INR 58,350 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. The Access 125 takes on the TVS NTorq 125, Hero Destini 125, Honda Activa 125 and Honda Grazia in its segment among other rivals.
The Suzuki Access 125 is a best-selling product for the company, notching up more than 40,000 units in monthly sales volumes on an average last year. The scooter measures 655 mm, 1870 mm and 1160 mm in terms of width, length and height respectively. The scooter’s seat height and wheelbase stand at 733 mm and 1265 mm respectively while its kerb weight stands at 101 kg.
The Suzuki Access 125 has fuel tank capacity of 5.6 litres along with offering fuel economy of 63 kmpl as claimed by the company. There is a single cylinder 125 cc air cooled engine that dishes out 8.7 PS and 10.2 Nm and the engine is mated to a CVT unit for smooth and continues acceleration.
