The MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR America special edition bike has been officially launched in the Indian market. The bike is priced at INR 18.73 lakhs (ex-showroom) which is actually INR 30,000 cheaper as compared to the Brutale 800 RR model. The limited edition model will only have 200 units produced globally and 5 units from this tally will be allocated for India.
The MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR Edition pays tribute to the S America 750 model from 1975 which had a four cylinder in-line engine with air cooling and a dual overhead camshaft with engine dishing out 75 hp of power. The bike sports an exclusive livery in White, Red and Blue, notably the American flag colours and a production number on the flyscreen. There is an authenticity certificate offered with the bike as well.
The American flag inspires the paint on the spoke wheels while there is a white rim, blue hub and red coloured spokes. The upper portion of the fuel tank has been embellished with stars. There is also the decal stating America Special Edition on each side of the radiator. The MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR Edition is powered by an inline three cylinder 798 cc liquid cooled 12 valve mill that makes 140 HP and 86 Nm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a claimed top speed of the bike at 244 kmph. The transmission unit gets MV EAS 2.0 for easier and quicker down and up-shifting.
