Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced a new line of engine oil called “Pro Honda” for Honda two-wheelers in India. Pro Honda, a genuine global oil brand from Honda Motor Co. Ltd, Japan, has been exclusively developed, tested, and approved by Honda engineers to uphold the superior performance of Honda 2Wheelers. Notably, HMSI is the first among all Honda network countries to launch the Pro Honda brand for its customers.
The range features advanced 5-in-1 technology that offers improved anti-rust properties, extended engine life, enhanced fuel efficiency, low viscosity to minimize friction, and environment-friendly low emissions. Pro Honda is a frontrunner in low viscosity with low friction technology.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales & Marketing at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, stated, “At Honda, we have always prioritized providing our customers with the finest products and services consistently. As we continue to create new value for our customers, we are introducing a new range of engine oil called ‘Pro Honda,’ which ensures optimal health for all Honda 2Wheelers. These oils are now available at our authorized network across India, promising a smoother ride for our customers.”
The new engine oil is offered in two exclusive grades: Pro Honda – 10W30 and Pro Honda – 5W30. The Pro Honda 10W30 is available in 10W30 MA (for motorcycles) and 10W30 MB (for scooters) variants, suitable for all Honda 2Wheelers. On the other hand, Pro Honda – 5W30 consists of 5W30 MA (for motorcycles) and 5W30 MB (for scooters), specially developed for BSVI compliant Honda 2Wheelers.
Both grades are currently available at all authorized HMSI touchpoints and in the open market, offered in packs of 600 ML, 800 ML, 900 ML, 1000 ML, and 1200 ML. The Pro Honda 10W30 grade starts at Rs. 333 (800ml), while the Pro Honda 5W30 grade starts at Rs. 311 (600ml).
