Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the all-new XPulse 200 4 Valve adventure motorcycle, which is compliant with OBD-II and E20 standards, in line with their commitment to cleaner and technologically advanced mobility solutions. The XPulse 200 4V features an engine that can run on a blend of ethanol and gasoline, up to 20% ethanol content. It also introduces the On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) system, a self-diagnostic feature that detects any errors or malfunctions in the vehicle and notifies the user through a malfunction indicator light.
Designed for the modern adventure-ready rider, the Hero XPulse 200 4V has been optimized to provide an unmatched experience of adventure and comfort. It offers updated ergonomics, advanced lighting technology, and advanced braking modes, enabling riders to explore uncharted territories.

Engine & Performance:
The XPulse 200 4V is equipped with a 200cc 4 Valve oil-cooled BS-VI engine that complies with OBD-II and E20 standards. It delivers a maximum power output of 19.1 PS at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 17.35 Nm at 6500 rpm. The OBD-II device monitors the performance of the catalytic converter and enhances the vehicle’s efficiency by sending notifications about any malfunctions.
ABS Modes:
The motorcycle features three ABS modes for different riding conditions – Road, Off-road, and Rally.
Road Mode: With default single-channel ABS, the control systems are optimized for optimum performance on dry roads.
Off-Road Mode: Allows the Hero XPulse 200 4V to exhibit its sporting temperament on-road. The reduced ABS intervention ensures maximum deceleration in off-road conditions such as loose sand, gravel, and rocky terrains.
