The 2023 Pulsar NS200 and NS160 models have finally been given the USD forks along with additional features to aid better handling and increased safety. The display console now includes a gear position indicator, so riders can maximize their track racing and street riding experience. Additionally, the display features a distance-to-empty readout, instantaneous fuel economy, and average fuel economy. The Pulsar NS200 is priced at ₹1,47,347 (ex-showroom Delhi), and the Pulsar NS160 is priced at ₹1,34,675 (ex-showroom Delhi). The NS200 model is equipped with Bajaj Auto’s patented Triple Spark DTS-i 4V engine, which produces the best-in-class power of 18 kW (24.5 PS) and 18.74 Nm of torque. The new design has shaved off approximately 1.5 kgs from the NS200, delivering a class-leading power-to-weight ratio and making it an excellent performer in drag races. The advanced liquid cooling system ensures thrilling performance at high temperatures and speeds, while the 6-speed gearbox delivers greater power at higher RPMs.

Both models are fitted with dual-channel ABS, which provides the best-in-class stopping power and ultra-safe braking on any surface. The NS160’s brakes have been made more extensive than the previous version. The NS160 has wider front and rear tires (100/80-17 F, 130/70-17 R), which provide better stability and control, preventing slippage in wet and extreme conditions.

The NS200 and NS160 have been redesigned to enhance the aggressive, muscular styling the NS series is known for. The forward-biased riding stance fully engages the rider in the thrill of riding an NS bike on the track and the streets. The sporty character of this bike is embodied in a piercing blade-like speed line, and touches of black chrome, grey, and carbon fiber give the naked beast a sinewy, speedy look.

Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director – Bajaj Auto Ltd., said, “The NS series is highly popular among sports motorcycling enthusiasts in many countries of Latin America and Asia, and with every new Pulsar, they expect us to raise the bar on both style and performance. And that is precisely what we have done with the new Pulsar NS200 and the NS160. These bikes not only look great but also pack a mean punch in performance. Both are feisty street fighters that enhance the Pulsar badge and are loaded with new and advanced features, and we are thrilled to present motorcycling enthusiasts with this fantastic upgrade.”
