Ducati has launched its 2022 Panigale V4 range in India. The new Panigale V4 is priced at INR 26.49 Lacs, while the Panigale V4 S is priced at INR 31.99 Lacs (Both prices ex-showroom India). Also updated for 2022, the Panigale V4 SP2 has an even more powerful braking system, magnesium wheels, Brembo Stylema front braking calipers, and dry clutch inherited from the WorldSBK bikes, racing foot pegs and a host of carbon components. The Panigale V4 SP2 is priced at INR 40.99 Lacs (Ex-showroom India) making it the top-of-the-line Panigale sold in India.
Commenting on the launch, Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India said, “The whole Panigale range is now updated for MY2022. The Panigale V4 and V4 S have received evolutionary changes towards better aerodynamics, engine, chassis upgrades and the Panigale V4 SP2 has now become more intuitive and easy-to-ride, even for the new riders. Recently, we took 30 riders from India who rode the MY22 Panigale V4S at a DRE event in Thailand, and if their first ride reviews are an indication, we again have a winner on our hands and we can’t wait to go racing this year!”
The Panigale V4 2022 represents the last step in the characteristic path of the Borgo Panigale sports bikes and it takes life from Ducati Corse’s long-time experience married to continuous knowledge and technology sharing from the world of racing directly to production bikes. The Panigale V4 2022 undergoes some significant changes that redesign its style, making the bike more aggressive aesthetically. The brand-new graphic project designed by the Ducati Centro Stile includes black logos applied to the full red fairings, double fabric saddle (two-tone on the S version) and, again for the S version, the red tag on the black rims.
The Panigale V4 SP2 stands out for its equipment with the typical technical specifications of the abbreviation “SP” (Sport Production) which are combined with all the improvements made by Ducati engineers on the Panigale V4 2022 to create the most high-performing Panigale ever. The Panigale V4 SP2 is characterized by the “Winter Test” livery, in which the matt black of the fairings is combined with the matt carbon finish of the wings, contrasting with the bright red accents and the brilliance of the exposed brushed aluminium tank. The wings with double profile design are embellished with the Italian flag which also appears on the official Panigale V4 R SBK.
