India Yamaha Motor has officially launched the Fascino Darknight Edition in the country at INR 56,790 (ex-showroom, Delhi) which is costlier than the regular Fascino model by INR 1,497. There are gloss finished and matte panels along with chrome highlights for the side panels and apron. There are added graphics and a dual tone saddle in addition to the new Darknight colour. There is under seat storage of 21 litres along with the USB charger option, bottle holder positioned adjacent to the keyhole and a handbag hook located near the footboard. There is an analogue instrument cluster which consists of a fuel gauge, speedometer and odometer.
Power is delivered by an air cooled 113 cc SOHC single cylinder two valve carburettor engine that also gets CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) and dishes out 7.2 PS and 8.1 Nm. There are drum brakes at both front and rear along with safety features such as the Unified Braking System which is what Honda calls its Combi Braking System. There are 10 inch wheels and tubeless tyres for the Fascino Darknight Edition along with an Underbone frame. There is a rear single spring along with telescopic front forks.
