UM is planning to launch its 150 cc scooter in the Indian market and it may be named as the UM Chill 150 ABS. The scooter will get the retro treatment in terms of its design, complete with a chrome trim for the exhaust cover and body panels and mirrors with chrome finishing. The scooter may have storage compartments for the front apron and under the seat.
There are rear and front disc brakes along with a 150 cc engine. The availability of ABS will make the scooter a worthy competitor for the Vespa and Aprilia 150 cc models. The company is planning to launch the UM Chill 150 ABS by August 2019 and is aiming to harness the potential of the scooter segment in the Indian market.
