TVS will be officially upgrading all the Apache RR 310 models that have been retailed in the Indian market. These upgrades will be done absolutely free of cost and the ECU will be updated for improving overall performance along with new bar-end weights that are heavier for lowering vibrations and a brand new chain roller too. There will also be a new visor for superior aerodynamics while riding. Owners will soon get notifications about this upgrade or can also get this done by taking the motorcycle directly to their respective service centres.
The TVS Apache RR 310 launched last year and is the flagship model for the company with the same engine as the one used by the BMW G 310 GS and G 310 R models. It has a reverse inclined single cylinder 313 cc engine that dishes out 33.5 BHP and 27.3 Nm. This engine is paired to a sharp and precise 6-speed transmission system.
