KTM has officially launched the KTM RC 200 ABS model in the Indian market. It gets the same single-channel ABS unit introduced on the Duke 200 in November last year. The upgraded RC 200 ABS comes at INR 1.88 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) which makes it costlier than the non-ABS version by approximately INR 9,000.
There are no other upgrades for the KTM RC 200 and it continues with its single cylinder 199.5 cc liquid cooled engine that makes 25.8 HP and 19.2 Nm of peak torque. There is a pre-load adjustable mono-shock along with a 43 mm USD fork as part of the suspension setup.
The KTM RC200 is one of the most powerful supersports offerings for entry-level buyers in India. Dealerships are already taking bookings for the KTM RC 200 ABS version. The non-ABS version of the bike will be sold in the country until stocks are cleared or till April 31st, which ever is earlier.
