Hero MotoCorp is readying the brand new XPulse 200 for its launch in the Indian market. The XPulse 200 was shown at the EICMA Motorcycle Show in 2017 and also at the Auto Expo 2018. The bike is reportedly being tested in India currently and may launch soon. There will be a high set exhaust for the XPulse 200 along with 21 inch and 18 inch front and rear wheels respectively. There will be front telescopic forks along with a rear monoshock and 825 mm of seat height. The single cylinder 200 cc engine will be sourced from the Hero Xtreme 200R and this will dish out 18 BHP and 17.1 Nm and will be paired to a 5 speed gearbox.

There may also be a red unit launched which could be a custom offering minus the bashplate, mudguard in front and rear tail-piece. However, the company has not revealed whether this will be a special edition version or a variant retailed with the XPulse 200. The XPulse 200T was also shown at EICMA 2018 and is a road-based model inspired by the XPulse 200. Both bikes may launch simultaneously in the Indian market with the XPulse 200T positioned as a tourer and the other more biased towards street use.
