TVS has officially launched the Apache RTR 160 4V ABS model in the Indian market at INR 92,645 (ex-showroom, Chennai). This indicates an increase of INR 6,500 as compared to the non-ABS version that comes for INR 86,145 (ex-showroom, Chennai). The fuel-injected ABS model also gets a hike in prices to INR 99,645 (ex-showroom, Chennai) from INR 93,145 (ex-showroom, Chennai) previously.

The Apache RTR 160 4V is one of TVS’ highest selling motorcycles as far as the Apache range is concerned. Sales volumes have outstripped 1 lakh units in only 6 months from the launch of this bike and it gets a four valve 159.7 cc single cylinder mill that makes 16.8 HP and 16.5 HP for the fuel-injected and carburetted variants. Torque of 14.8 Nm is same for both these variants.

Dealership will be getting the motorcycle in a couple of weeks. The mandatory ABS regulation will be implemented from 1st April, 2019 and hence non-ABS motorcycles will be discontinued soon by TVS and other Indian two-wheeler brands.
