With the target of opening more than 100 dealerships in the country this year Jawa Motorcycles recently inaugurated their dealerships in Nashik – Maharashtra and Delhi-NCR. The latest dealership opened on the 31st January at SAFINA MOTORS, Infantry Road, Bengaluru.
Since their inception, they have received a huge response through online bookings and footfall at the dealerships on a daily basis clearly highlighting the excitement among the people. The deliveries at these new dealerships are expected to begin from March 2019 on wards as informed by the company’s co-founder Anupam Thareja.
The company is aiming to cover nationwide dealerships within the first three months of 2019. The newly launched motorcycles Jawa and Jawa Forty-two by Jawa Motorcycles will be available in these dealerships for sale with the Perak coming in later this year. The Jawa and Jawa forty two are priced at INR 1,67,000/- and INR 1,58,000/- respectively (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and the Dual ABS variants will be priced at INR. 1,75,942/- & INR. 1,66,942/- respectively. Dual channel ABS will be an optional addition to both the bikes but deliveries for that will begin only post June 2019.
With a 293cc liquid cooled, single cylinder, DOHC engine, built from the ground up in collaboration with the best of Italian engineering, it is going to be all new, and at the same time, a classic Jawa experience. It packs 27 bhp and 28 Nm of torque with a generous mid-range and a flat torque curve for an unwavering, consistently powered ride.
