UM Lohia Two Wheelers Pvt Ltd showcased its prowess for the Indian market by unveiling the Renegade Thor at the Auto Expo 2018. The Renegade Thor is also the world’s first production electric cruiser. The Renegade Thor produces an impressive 30 Kw of power along with 70 Nm of torque, and is equipped with a 5-speed transmission gearbox, with a hydraulic clutch and a liquid cooled motor with a controller. The Renegade Thor also comes equipped with a reverse gear allowing for easy manoeuvring. Pricing for the Renegade Thor starts at Rs 4.9 lakh ex-showroom with availability around June-July this year. The gears are essentially for controlling the amount of torque available, something like riding modes but working mechanically based on a conventional gear box.
