The Ducati Panigale V4 S has scooped the Bike of the Year award in this year’s coveted Auto Trader Best Bike Awards. Now in its fifth year, the awards are bigger than ever, with Ducati beating off more contenders than previous years. The Ducati Panigale V4 S was the undeniable favourite with judges unanimously voting for the Ducati. The V4 also secured the title of ‘Best Sports Bike’. Ducati was also nominated for best retro with the Scrambler 1100 and best middleweight with the Monster 821.
Auto Trader Guest Judge, Andrew Shim – best known as ‘Milky’ in the film and TV series – This is England – commented: “The Ducati V4S is by far the superior bike this year. I own a Ducati V4S (along with lots of their competitor’s bikes) and I can say first hand that Ducati haven’t just moved the goal posts with the V4 S, they’ve changed the game!”

With 13 categories and 16 manufacturers, Auto Trader’s Best Bike Awards reveal the best machines on two wheels including, sportsbikes, cruisers, tourers, sports-tourers, retro, adventure, naked, middleweight and some of the smaller capacity categories.
Auto Trader’s Best Bike Awards aim to help every biker find their ideal motorcycle. The judging panel rode thousands of miles to test over 36 models and compile the year’s list of the most impressive bikes on the market. Reliability, running costs, appearance, practicality, performance and technical advancements were all considered by judges as they put together this well-informed list of winners.
